I used to play the violin.

What do you do for fun when you aren’t writing?
Lots of various crafts, reading, camping
How did you discover writing as a possible career?
It was something I have wanted to do for years. Hubby had a major health issue, and I realized that if I didn't go for it I never would.
How did you choose your pen name?
It is my middle name (Ann) and my husband’s middle name, with an 'S' (Edward)
Where do you find inspiration for your stories?
Real life, One-liners, Videos
What trope is your favorite to write?
It varies depending on my mood.
What is your favorite thing about being an author?
All the people I have been able to meet. I have made some great friends through this community.
What is your writing process?
I jot notes of what I want to happen. When I sit down to write, I use a tablet and then modify/edit as I type it.
What time of day are you most creative?
Mornings. I am fresh and can concentrate on the story in front of me.
What is your ideal writing environment?
Silence, preferably with lots of coffee and my recliner.
As an author, what challenges do you face?
Trying to get my name out there.
What is your least favorite part of being an author?
Social media - trying to keep up with posts on various platforms gets time consuming.
If there was one thing you could change about the writing/publishing industry, what would it be?
Authors seeing other authors as competition.
What advice would you give aspiring authors?
Write for you!

Historical and/or Time Travel Romance
Which parts of yourself are reflected in your characters?
Most of my females are more outgoing than I am.
Which of your characters have special meaning to you?
Mordecai, he is modeled after my husband.
How do you come up with character names?
I don't use family or friends; I have a baby book that I use and lean toward slightly less common spellings.
What is something you love to hear from your readers?
That they didn't know who the villain was. I get annoyed when a book becomes predictable, so I try and write a good plot-twist.
